The mission of the New Mexico Community Roots Foundation is to cultivate a thriving community through agricultural education, wellness initiatives, and outdoor learning experiences for children and families. In collaboration with community organizations, we strive to foster partnerships that strengthen resources, create opportunities, and build a more connected and resilient community.
Our vision is to create a vibrant, sustainable community in the South Valley of Albuquerque, NM, and beyond, where children and families can connect with nature, learn about agriculture, and develop a lifelong appreciation for wellness and environmental stewardship. We envision a future where our outdoor learning center, enriched by community partnerships, serves as a hub for educational excellence, community wellness, and cultural enrichment.
By honoring and sharing original New Mexico trades, customs, languages, and cultural traditions, we aim to inspire a deeper connection to the rich heritage of our state while empowering future generations to embrace their roots and cultivate a brighter future.
